Dear Forumites

I am cautiously investigating the possibility to convert my 912UL to 95hp with the 912Xtra conversion kit (http://www.craftworks.biz/pistonsite/912sales.htm, not original Rotax parts). Does anyone here have any experience with it, good or bad? Is it really true that you only need the pistons? I would, for instance, expect that the gaskets (are there any?) between the sleeves and heads and block to need replacing too...

The benefits don't out weigh the risk. I have never personally done this, but after talking to two who have they wish they had never started. I don't think you would really notice much of a change in your plane's performance, most times it is a function of your fuselage design.
