I am wiring my Dynon Skyview system to my 912ULS. The Dynon Installation Manual says the following about monitoring the EGTs: "For carbureted Rotax 912 engines, only two of the four cylinders are typically monitored for EGT." Why is this? Why not monitor all 4 cylinders? The Dynon system has the capability. Wouldn't the monitoring all four cylinders allow you to detect a possible problem with a single cylinder?
