Unable to start - 914

Three weeks ago I taxied my plane to a maintainance hanger. I repaired a fracture in my left wing fuel tank. Haven't put fuel in yet. Yesterday I attempted to start but all it will do is crank. Battery is good but ran a jumper from an extra battery to rule out this as a cause. Battery is 16 months old PC680 Odessey. I can't see a spark but this may be it's too light to see one and am not about to grap the spark plug to find out if it's hot. From the time I taxied the plane until I attempted to start it I haven't touched the engine or any associated wireing. I'm perplexed. Any thoughts?
