Coming back from sun n fun yesterday , after running smooth for 4 hrs , the engine started to run rough and loosing power even at WOT I could only get 3800 RPM. When I pull the choke I was able to get 4800 RPM and made my home base in NC . Scary but at least I did not have full engine failure .
The RV12 has 32hrs on the new engine with the new fuel pump and outside drain on the pump !
Everything else was normal.
Where should I start looking ???

    Hi Andre,

So long your mag drop is still where it was and not had some big change then your best bet is a fuel delivery issue and the carbs would be my first look. Check the carb bowls for debris first. What is the fuel pressure? Pop the off bowls and take a look. Check the EGT readings and see if there is a larger difference than before(one side verses the other) After I pulled the cab bowls to look for debris I would put a set of gauges on to check the synced vacuum. Use gauges and not an electronic device, they will tell you much more and it may show you which carb is affected.

Fuel pressure was good . The right side EGG was flectuating a little and I thought it was due to a bad connection on the sensor wiring.i will look at the right carb first .
And yes I do have dual vacuum gauges for the carb syc .
Let you know what I find .
    Thanks Roger !
