    OK Rob
I'm living in France and the closest shop able to check the propeller dynamically is 600km away. Not really a huge deal with a plane but in France, landing at an airport with a LSA ROTAX equiped in the middle of commercial King air is something difficult.
Despite all of this, I know the Dynamic balance is the best thing to do.
After having found some cracks on the exhaust of an Evektor Sportstar, I seriously considering the check the balance of the propeller.

I just did a full test with one of these on an RV7. We checked the dynamic balance with the old weights on because they had been there a couple of years, then with the weights off, then a re-balance with our own weights. Finally we installed the Balance Master. These were all dynamically done by the way. The difference was very marginal from our own weights to the balance master. It did not make things worse. Our weights and the balance master balance was very close.
The Balance Master is still on his plane for some long term testing. Your results could be different.
