Hey guys,
I'm looking for information about fuel tubing to replace the one damaged on my Sportstar.
Which fuel tubing should I chose tu use on a Rotax 912 ULS, is blue line BAI / Urethane a good choice ?

    Hi Jacques,

The poly fuel hoses aren't a good choice use a regular rubber fuel hose and all fuel hose should be in fire sleeve.

If its not too late to comment, I did lots of research on this before replacing my fuel lines. I settled on Gates Barricade fuel line. It is formulated for everything from e85 to biodiesel. Don't ask the auto parts store guys what to use. They don't know one fuel line from another. The barricade for carbs is more flexible than the fuel injection line, both are equally resistant to ethanol. Don't use R307 fuel line. It will not hold up. R309 is the standard you need to comply with. Check out the attachments for more info. Good luck!

Gates Barricade fuel hose is all I use. I have never had an issue. I do not use the fuel injected hose for the carb models. I use the hose better suited for just carburetor pressure. It works better over barbed brass fittings without causing internal hose liner damage. Gates Barricade fuel hose should be able to handle anything we as Rotax owners should be putting through our engine.
