Hi,

Even with the choke cable disconnected the springs on my 912 chokes do not pull the choke open. Anyone have the same problem and or a solution?

I've seen this on carbs where there is contamination inside the choke housing and where the O ring has seen better days.

Why not strip the choke housings and take a look, be careful with the gasket unless you have new ones to hand.

    Hi Larry,

Are we talking about the choke or throttle?
The choke springs are supposed to pull the choke closed not open. The cable is supposed to open the choke when pulled from inside the cockpit..
