Looking for some advice. 912ULS, Serial #4427595 crankcase Serial #14827, TTIS 716.7 Following a flight noticed oil drip, cleaned oily area and did a ground run. Leak coming from a crack on the top of the crankcase in area by cylinders one and three exactly as outlined in SB 912-029.
Talked with Lockwood they said I have two options, short block rebuild ($11,015.65) price includes a $2125.00 Goodwill Discount or a new engine ($17,700.00)
Asking for advice on any other options that may be out there?
