The video on removal/re-install of gearbox says to use DuPont KlensAll to remove all Loctite 5910 to clean surface for new 5910 material. I can only find KlensAll stone and grout cleaner. Where can I find the correct KlensAll to use for cleaning the mating surfaces of the gearbox? Is there another product that will clean the surfaces correctly?
Thanks,
Dan

Myself and others just use lacquer thinner and a scotchbrite pad to clean up both surfaces. remember not to put too much Loctite 5910 (European) or Loctite 598 (US) on the clean surfaces. Just a good film all the way around. You don't want it to squish out inside the gearbox in big clumps.

Thank you. That answers my question and makes it easier. Also, you answered which Loctite to use for re-install. Again thanks.
