Here in Las Vegas, we have temps in the 105 to 108-degree range. I have experienced higher oil temps recently (250 to 260).
During this time the CHT and EGT temps are running well within the green.
I performed a compression test and two cylinders tested at 82/87 and two others were at 72/87.
Question:
Is 260 deg. oil temp high enough to be a concern?
Is the 72/87 compression check a problem?
Or am I just overthinking this problem?
