    Thanks Roger,

Understood on WOT. I am a little fine on the prop forsure but not radically. on take off and climb, about 5400. I pull the power back in cruise and didn't check WOT today. What could be out of whack? All the plugs look good, compressions are good, zero oil consumption. Very smooth running. The split at 5400 and above, is maybe 25 F degrees off. The split on descent and approach is the same... maybe 50F. The split when I pull back from the higher power settings is 220. This is at about 4900 to 5200 rpm. THe motor is installed in a murphy rebel, so leaving the power up isn't going to break any speed records, but I don't see why I would burn the extra gas. If I wan't to go fast, I will take the other plane.

    best

    Sheldon
