Hi all. Have any carb sockets been produced either past, or present which have an O-ring integrally installed into their structure such that no separate o-ring is required to sit inside the groove in the inlet manifold?

I understand that older inlet manifolds had no cut out for an o-ring and required a gasket behind the carb socket. By reference to the current IPC it was my understanding that the current carb sockets need to be partnered with a separate o-ring but a couple of people have recently made me question this. Any clarification would be much appreciated in case I have missed something.

1-the gasket is only for the optional drip tray, it goes between the drip tray and the manifold.
2- some manifolds did not have the o-ring groove (I believe 1995 and prior). If yours does not, simply do not use an o-ring.
