Hi. I am new ni this forum, I littel write english.
One question; now in summer in Spain when I fly I have an intake temperature of 40 degrees Celsius; I have a Tecnam P92 with Rotax 912 ULS; install the original Rotax airbox after purchasing by plane; my spark plugs are very black; you think youshould change the main jet from 158 to 155 and neddle postion 3 ?. In winter according to altitude I can reach admission temperatures of zero degrees centigrade and I use the necessary heating of carburation to raise it to 20 degrees centigrade. I wait your answer

If you see dry black soot and have been idling this may be normal.

It would help if we knew your field elevation and your average altitude when you fly. Your stock main jet from the factory should be fine. The needle clip position should already be in #3. What position is the clip in now? Before you start changing things you need to make sure you have addressed any other maintenance items.
Is the air filter(s) clean, are the spark plugs 100 hrs. or less, is their gap between .023 - .027, are you using thermal conducting paste on the spark plug threads? When reading plugs for color you can not idle for any period of time of they may look dry sooty black. This can be fairly normal. Run the rpm up around 4000 for 4 minutes or so and immediately shut the engine down with no idle time. Then look at the plugs or go fly, but when you land don't sit and idle. Make sure the carbs are synced. Try syncing at idle and around 3300-3500 rpm instead of 2500 rpm.

I live in Arizona in the US. We get to to 40c - 45c in the summer just like you. In the winter it gets colder same as you. many of use use some 2" wide aluminum tape across the coolant radiator and oil cooler. to keep our temps up around 100c.
