I need to know the size of the carburetor balance hose. Either the internal size of the hose or the size of the metal connector that the hose connects to. The hose I’m talking about is the hose you take off to separate your carbs when doing the carb synch. I purchased the carb synch kit from aircraft spruce but it doesn’t seem to have the correct fittings to connect to the 912uls. Can anyone help me by telling me the sizes I need to connect my synch gauges up.

    I think it is 11mm or 7/16" .

I have that same kit from AS&S. There appears to be no easy way to connect it to the Rotax to balance the carbs. What I ended doing was to drill out the inside of the large black fittings to fit the OD of the crossover tube and the pilot side carb tube and got a small hose clamp for each of those. Seems to work OK but I'd welcome an alternative idea for connecting this set to the Rotax.

Here is a picture of a homemade sync tool. You can buy brass fittings from Ace Aviation (Ace Hardware) (any hardware store). Don't use polyvinyl hose like in the picture. Use regular vacuum hose. The picture is more to look at the hose fittings.
