DEAR ALL

I HAVE PURCHASED A 912ULS SERIES SERIAL NUMBER 6 785 340 IN 2016 AND WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME INFO ON THE CORRECT SIZE OF FUEL HOSE PIPE.

I READ 6,4MM ON SOME OF THE PIPES I HAVE ON MY ENGINE, BUT HEARD THEY NEED TO BE 5MM IN SOME AREAS AND 7MM IN OTHERS.

COULD YOU KINDLY CONFIRM THE CORRECT SIZE AND ALSO LENGHT OF PIPE REQUIRED INSIDE THE ENGINE COWLING.

KIND REGARDS

7.9 mm (5/16") (most common) is the minimum from the fuel tank to the mechanical pump inlet. You can also use
9.5 mm (3/8") if you would like.

6.4 mm (1/4") is from the outlet of the fuel pump to the fuel distribution assembly block on the compensation tube. You probably have the orangish Teflon hose from the compensation tube to the carbs. If for some reason you don't then use the 6.4 mm hose there to.
There is no set length of hose that fits all planes due to different Mfg designs and configurations. Buy it in a long length and cut to your specific needs.

All fuel and oil hose should be in fire sleeve except the Teflon hose.

    p.s.
Some fuel pumps have the orangish Teflon hose on them.

Just to clarify: the Rotax Stratoflex 101 teflon hose has integral fire sleeve
