What is the idel RPM range?
According to rotax operator manual minimum idel speed is 1400 RPM but upper limit is not mentioned, in older edetion it was 1200 to 1400 RPM.
While in start up procedure and ground run procedure there is no idel RPM mentioned.

For a Rotax 912 series the idle rpm is approx 1800-2200 in my experience

That seems way too fast to me. I shoot for about 1500 otherwise my RV-12 will float forever when landing. I'm careful keep it above 1800 when taxiing but with a 1500 idle I get something like 2000 and full closed throttle on final.

Me Too, if idle too high it won't land.

    I also observe 1800 to 2200 on my 914F,
While low RPM make starting problem, my Steeme S6T did not start at 1st 3 to 4 attemts.

What do you mean by full close throttle, I think at idel it's fully closed, and my question is this also that when I move throttle fwd from full close to partial open position at which range of throttle and at which RPM is said to be the upper limit of idel speed or idel RPM,
