I've recently become aware of the change in the bolts holding the two case halves together.  At some 912ULS engine S/N a change was made to utilize through bolts.

1)  Where can I go to find out what that S/N is where the change was made

2)  If my engine still has the old configuration is it reworkable to the new through bolt config or not?  If not what can I do to monitor fretting of the case halves?
