Re: oil pressure when engine off

Mainly what I was looking for right now, before diving in, was to see if anyone else had already experienced this specific "problem" and solved it.

Ken, I just had this exact problem with my Dynon Skyview when replacing my sensor. Make sure the scaling of the sensor is the same as the gauge configuration. I also I had to power there sensor with 5 Volts (pin 18 red/white wire on EMS module) instead of the usual 12 volts for the sensor to operate properly. Normally in a current loop for a current type sensors do not care of the exact voltage as long as they are in range. So verify that your sensor is powered by 5 volts.

Garrett, was your experience with the latest, 3 wire Rotax oil pressure sensor?
