914 with heavy floats
I have a 914 with only 70 hours started running rough. Check the carburetor floats one side weighed in at 8.3 the other weighed in at 7.1. I thought this problem had been taken care of.

Just curious, what kind of fuel used?

93 octane mogas with 10% ethanol.

In my 912 experience, the #861188 floats continue to absorb fuel and sink (ROTAX says the latest #861189 floats are identical to the #861188 floats). I am using primarily Shell (or Chevron) 91 octane with 10% ethanol mogas (ethanol is bad news). The sinking problem is not solved.

Rotax dealer is sending me the latest floats. #861189. l hope this is it. This has been going on to long. Three sets on my 912 , now first set on 914. I guess they're waiting for someone to have a accident before the problem gets fixed.$32,000 for a motor and I still have to deal with this again.
