Oil pump pressure regulator

I would certainly do the full purge after anything but a routine oil change.

All of those parts are AFTER the Oil Pump and BELOW the Oil Tank.

Expect a very small dribble of Oil coming OUT.

Air will not be going IN.  NO Purge needed!

reason I am changing them is I have a MGL EFIS and the oil pressure fluctuates between 2.1 bar and about 4.5 bar when at normal operating temperature in flight.

i don’t believe there is an oil pressure issue, the engine has 160 hrs and I have owned it since 120 hours. Everything else is normal

Read somewhere that the electronic readout maybe very sensitive to the original ball / spring arrangement so thought I would try a new spring with valve piston instead of the ball and and a new type plug screw with a longer internal bore which may (or may not) steady the spring.

just trying to iron out the fluctuations as disconcerting to myself especially due to my motor engineering profession.
