Is there a way to test the Vdo cht Sender with a muiltimeter?

Again! It is all in the Maintenance Manuals.
See the 912 Heavy Maintenance Manual, Section 75-00-00, Chapter 3.17, Page 18.
It will measure About 800 Ohms at room temperaturre and About 50 Ohms in boiling water.
