After all the floats I have purchased they should be free. On my Cessna 182 they gave me a new crankshaft with bearings seals and gaskets for free and it was out of warranty for 5 years, but it was their fault mistakes were made in the manufacturing process and they took responsibility for it. Is anyone going to get fired for this ongoing issue? I am tired of paying for floats that should not have failed in the first place. I bet in time these new ones will fail also.

We have not seen any issues with the new R floats. So far the R floats are working and this issue has been solved.

So odd. My engine is 2010 era, still has the original floats. Just did the 400 hour inspection, and they are well within spec weight wise. I guess I should keep mine forever!!!
