The oil at that point had about 35 hours since the last change, and had run maybe 15 total gallons of 100LL during that time. Given how clean everything was, I will probably change at 50 hours next time. (I'm hauling auto gas to the airport instead of using 100LL.)"
There is no fuel at my airport (it's a grass strip next to a stream), so I too carry in fuel (91UL E0) from the local gas station. I occasionally use 100LL when flying XC, but I keep a small amount of Decalin Run-Up on hand in those situations. I have disassembled my oil tank twice now (every 200 hours) and have yet to find any sludge therein. I have always used AeroShell Sport Plus 4.
I know that some folks like to change the oil every 25 or 50 hours, depending on their use of 100LL (or not), but the manual only requires it at 50 (LL) or 100 (UL) hours, except for that very first 25h change. MML 05–20–00, Pg 12

I have not changed the oil yet as it only has about 25 hours on it.

Hi all
The factory reports that the supply line should be back to normal in the next 30 to 45 days. It was a production issue. if you are stuck and have to change oil it presents some issues as running other brands might conflict with the Aeroshell. As we are not lubrication chemists it will be a crap shoot.
As far as good oil for the engine use a MOTORCYCLE blend that is suitable for lubricating a high power, high RPM engine that has gear additives. Avoid auto engine oils and any oils with super slip additives for auto racing. Those will defeat the clutch and you may lose drive.
Cheers
