I thought it was the case that the float needle can be replaced, but not the seat itself...

That’s how I read it in the Rotax manual as well, I’ll let you know when I get them back

And your use of the word “Carby” led me to believe you are from the land Down Under as tacking on the letter “y” to the end of words is common there.

Oh! that 2015 Bulletin - your correct- doesn't apply to my carby's.
