New fuel standard for 912iS?

Rotax issued a new Service Bullitin for fluids.

As I recall the previous fuel standard for MOGAS was 91 AKI for the 912 iS Sport. (U.S. standard)

The new standard for the 912iS (Sport) is 87 AKI. (U.S. standard)

The standard for the 912 ULS is still 91 AKI. (U.S. standard)

We are going to send this info to the Rotax factory and see what they say as it looks like an error in the bulletin.

By omission, it appears that UL91 is no longer approved for the 912iS

If the knock sensor was actually used in the 912iS then it might be possible to safely run a lower AKI because any detonation would cause the spark timing to retard. Maybe they just updated the firmware and now the knock sensor is used?
