with 10.5 to one compression do NOT use 87, you can have detonation. This is an error.

The current issue is also part of discussion about the requirement of the engine in EASA and FAA approvals. You are not allowed to have any controller that will give you an un-commanded drop in power. While it is understood that this is done all the time with airliners they have no verbiage to allow this on piston engines.
But the 915iS knock sensor can advance spark timing and reduce engine power output and it is certified right?
