The climb rate is obviously too low. You should see at least 1000 fpm. You don’t mention what rpm you get during climb, or what rpm you get at level flight WOT. Without knowing that, my guess would be that your prop is overpitched. I have an A-32 with the same MTOW, and get 4900 rpm when climbing Vy, and 5500 rpm level flight WOT. Temperature around 15 degrees Celsius.

Manufacturers publish their best case climb and cruise speed numbers.  These are typically done at standard temp and pressure, whereas you are flying in much warmer and humid conditions. Another factor is that they don’t necessarily give you best speed and best climb with the same prop setting. So using a fixed pitch prop you get one or the other, but not both.  You need a compromise setting to get performance acceptable to you at both ends.  If Lockwood set your prop to get “book cruise speed”, you can expect climb performance to be compromised. Post what RPM you get at takeoff climb, and also your max RPM at WOT in level flight at your average altitude.  Then you will get lots of advice!

I agree with Jeff B. It would be nice if the world could all use in flight adjustable  props. Rarely does a Mfg do many different scenarios for different flight needs. This is one reason many years ago I did a prop study like no other Mfg has done including the prop Mfg's.  Since many use fixed pitch or ground adjustable props and different aircraft  and owners have different needs it is rarely a one size fits all. That said the difference in many circumstances is small and nit picking over 100 - 150 rpm is rarely a huge difference, but it can and does help individuals fine tune for their specific  needs.

Thanks, all! I just created a new thread here with lots of additional information. Would appreciate your help! Only getting 4670rpm in the climb. https://www.rotax-owner.com/en/general-tech-discussion/9940-think-i-need-my-prop-repitched-any-suggestions

Maybe your airspeed indicator is off and when you are climbing you actually have more pitch (and less airspeed) than is being indicated. Have you looked at what happens at different climb atitudes?
