I am doing my first 100 hrs maintenace actions on my 915iS,  the line maintenance manual refers to

"Check the pop-off valve for 700 mbar / 10.15 PSI low-pressure and its full opening."

Further reference is heavy maintenance manual chapter 73-10-00 however there is no further info on how to do the test.

Could anybody give any clues how to make this maintenance check ?

    Hi Peter

The type 915 MML is vague on how to do it.  The type 916 MML cleared that up a bit so here is the same call out, 700 mbarr or 10.15 psi check.  The 916 manual however has some better guidance on what you have to do.  i attached the pages from the 916 for you.

    Cheers

Can you please post the exact  Rotax part number for the pop off valve tester? I am unable to read it on the video image.

    Thank you,

    Wayne
