I have a Rotax 915is engine on a Sling TSi. In October I had a lane A failure that would not recycle and with multiple faults and ended up being an engine coil. 20 hours of flying since then and no problem. On December 10, I had new prop blades installed and since in have had multiple lane B failures that always recycle back to normal with the toggle switch. It seems that with the new blades full throttle is often 104 to 106% running a 5650 on climb and I thought that might be the issue but yesterday I had two lane B failures when I was within the green envelope of RPMs. Lockwood Aviation looked at it last week and thought the wiring harness was cable tied too tight together, especially by the connectors, Corrected the problem and I had no issues flying home. But on the next flight yesterday, the Key West, I had five lane B failures. Always the same message on The FADEC information, Cylinder 3/4 ignition fault and the plane continues to run normally. It was happening every time on takeoff at 500 feet and with the new blades I was redding out over 5800 for a couple of seconds. It does seem to be associated with the new blades. Any ideas?

One of the most common causes of ignition fault messages is the spade connectors on the ignition coils. They get slightly loose, and the ECU flags it, even before you get any symptoms. Just remove the female end of the spade connectors, crimp them down a little and reinstall.
