Yes, the un-used ports on the other cylinders just have a plug in them.
I am also now a fan of the simplicity of the coolant temp sensor on the 912ULS, just a simple insulated spade lug fits on the sensor connector! Mind you its a simple one wire sensor and the 915iS sensor is a two wire suggesting it may be a thermocouple style, not yet measured the sensor to see if its RTD or Thermocouple.

I found the Bosch connector that I linked to above by uploading a photo of the mating connector for that sensor (on the engine harness) to the pigtails.com photo search page. Mine is a 912iS but I presume they're the same; the sensor looks identical.
The connector on the Rotax harness doesn't have the external frame around it like the ones available online, but it doesn't look to me like that frame would prevent it from mating properly.
