Rotax 916 Smoke System

I am looking for advice and experience of where to fit smoke injector(s) on a 916.
The exhaust must be hot enough to vaporise the smoke oil, but not too hot to burn.
My hunch is the turbo side of the muffler box is too hot/too complicated?
Anybody got experience of putting the injectors near the exhaust elbow?
