Did Rotax just pull the Lord J3608-1 rubber mount recommendation for the 9-series "Suspension Frame" (ring mount) out of its a$$? That rubber mount was designed for cast, stepped holes in certain C85, C90, and O-200 engine cases. To build a motor mount to interface with the J3608, you have to recreate that stepped hole in those engine cases.
Also, the bolt hole in the ring mount is 7/16" and the bolt hole in the J3608 is 3/8". That means you have to sleeve the hole in the ring mount if you want to use the J3608. Am I missing something (wouldn't be the first time)?

Has anyone had success building a motor mount for the 9-series ring mount using a different rubber mount set, ideally with a 7/16" bolt hole, that is appropriate for the vibration of the engine and easier to build a motor mount around?
Thanks in advance,
