Hello friends, I received two EGT sensors for my 912UL, is there some manual or diagram for correct installation, informing wich cylinders and position of the sensor ? I saw different information about distance and position of sensors.

    Ricardo,

See part 11.2) operating limits of the 912 installation manual.

Fig. 14 shows exactly where to put the probes. The measurement (100mm) doesn't have to be exact, but as close as is practical. If you have the type of probe that is held on with a hose clamp, just try to keep the probe in a straight part of the exhaust pipe so the clamp fits properly. The tip of the probe should be about in the center of the pipe when the band is tightened. Fig. 14 shows them mounted in the propeller end of the exhaust system. I had to mount mine in the magneto end due to space limitations.

    Bill.

    Hi Ricardo,

    Cyl. 3 & 4, both rear cyl.

As far as the oil pressure goes the new cap screw is a main component to stop the problem. You need to find one. Call Lockwood, Leading Edge or CPS all in the US.

Hi Roger, is there some special instruction for installation of sensors ? Some paste or another instruction ? Or just a hole in the exaust at 100mm from flange ?

    Hi Ricardo,

Here is the pages out of the Installation manual. No special lubricants or paste. It is drill and install only. Mount the probe at the 100mm point, but turn it in a direction that won't interfere with the cowl or any other parts.
