Thanks Andy, so if Mark has a .9 bar (13 lbs) installed his problem could be cured by getting the correct 1.2 bar (17 lbs) cap,,or at least one would think so.

I don't understand the 80% coolant mix when for eons it's been said that for a glycol base coolant to work correctly it has to be at a 50% mix and that if mixed at a higher percentage it would actually lower the boiling point.

Thanks for your input on my problem ,I use to never have a problem when I used 100% waterless antifreeze but since they changed it to a 50/50 mixtuer this problem has continued, So I think I will flush out this stuff and put in the 100% waterless stuff back in . Again thanks for your help,Mark.

It still raises the question "why are you having this problem", the waterless might cure it but why isn't everyone having to use it, the waterless coolant I looked at boils at 375 deg's, that's not curing the problem,,it hiding it. Check your cap, maybe have it tested.

Some people do have a little more over heat isues because of the cowl style on their plane. Setup up on carbs, prop pitch, idle rpm, radiator postion and size, ect... can all play a small part and then they can be accumlative.
