The problem with one gauge and switching just makes it harder to dial in to the exact position. When you move one carb it may affect the other slightly and then you have to keep switching back and forth a lot. It makes it harder to diagnose too. For another $30 you have a two gauge setup which is much easier to use and read all at one time. It just makes life a little less frustrating.

    Hi Roger. I believe your are referring to my post of a few hours ago. I do have dual gauges but when I reversed the hoses to double check my readings, they where way off. That indicated to me that my two three inch round gauges are bad or out of sink? I was looking for advice on which new type to buy

    Hi Tim,

    You can buy any decent liquid filled gauge. Mine are only about 2.5" OD. You don't need $100 gauges. Somewhere in the $30 - $45 range should work. Just look some up on line.
