Hi, I fly an ultralight trike, Antares with 503 DCDI engine. I'm looking to purchase new or used 3 blades propeller. Any idea what propeller is best? IVO or Powerfin or Aeros???

    Sally,

Ivo is by far the easiest to pitch and served me well on several aircraft.

Powerfin takes a little more time to pitch but it is lighter than the Ivo (weight is a real consideration if you are using the B gearbox)

Both will give you the performance you need. I prefer the Powerfin because you can set the pitch perfectly on each individual blade. This may sound silly, but the Powerfin blades and hub are esthetically pleasing also.

Have no experience with the Aeros.

    Bill.

Bill's suggestions and you should look hard at a Sensenich based out of Florida. A nice light composite, easy to adjust and proven prop.

Thank you, I was suggested on the IVOprop.
I'm looking around to purchase used ones. If not I'll get IVO.

    Thank you very much.
