I am installing a used 912 on my Kitfox. when I went to hook up my mag switches I found that I have 2 brown wires on each ignition module. each module has a brown wire with a female connector and a male connector. The Rotax 912 installation manual only shows one brown wire that gets hooked up to each mag switch. I don't know which wire on each module to use. Also I have a red and a green/reshish color wire coming off of the coil. They are separate for any Molex connector what are these wires? and where do they go?

    Hi Doug,
THis depends on the year of your engine. See attached for description of all the versions.
The 1st version had the ignition leads (also called P-leads) connected to capacitors sticking out of the aluminum box, the 2nd version they has a bullet connector (labeled A & B) the 3rd version had single AMP pin connectors (white in color)
If you have a new model with the 6 pin connectors see the second attachment to see how the ignition lead is connected.
