Intake is just behind prop via ducting.

If it is like the CH750 installation I think that cowl makes it very hot at at the rear engine area. Is your bungie getting hot?
Try a seaplane lip to cool it down?

    Hi, Neil

Is that a BRM or a ICP?. I have a Brm Okavango and I normally have that temp in my airbox most of the time... not an issue.

Do you have more photos of the intake installation closer photos.. Another thing am I seeing correctly did you remove the slats? or that is a new VG wing?

ICP sav. Yes I did remove the slats and am very happy with the STOL and TAS perf. I've finally tracked down a K & N filter that hopefully will fit to replace the Bosch paper filter in the air box. My next idea is some sort of air scoop. I might try disconnecting the hot air duct from the muffler. Temps are still very high.
