Hello. I hope I've found the right place to ask this.
My brother-in-law ended up with a Rotax engine after cleaning out his father's home following a house fire. He's working on getting the engine into shape with a plan to sell it. He knows nothing of the Internet and asked me to find an approximate market price for it. I can't find anything of the sort (apart form fan covers, which are everywhere.)
The information he gave me is this:
Rotax-Werk Ag Wels Motor number 1775339
Bore=2 x 76 mm
Stroke 70 mm
Capa. 635 ccm (I have no idea what that might be the capacity of. I get 106 cc based on his numbers.)
He thinks it's a motorcycle motor. It's got four bolt holes for mounting. The only thing I can find references to are aircraft and snowmobiles (which are listed as 399 cc).
Any guidance on the value, or a better spot to ask, would be appreciated.
