G'Day flyers,
I am using the grey head Rotax 582 engine from a crashed weight shift microlight for a powered paramotor.
I have worked out all the wiring except for the two red and white ones from the Gen/Mag shown in the attachment.
Some wiring diagrams say they go to external pickups or triggers but I couldn't find any of these on the engine or damaged framework. Would someone like to enlighten me as to what they are used for please?
Thanks .

An educated guess says these are coming from the INTERNAL Trigger Coils and connect to the EXTERNAL Electronic Boxes.
They would be identified as the RED Trigger Cables in the 582 Installation Manual, Section 74-00-00, pages 3-4.

The Red and Black sleeving distinguishes the Right from the Left.
You have a 50-50 shot of getting this part correct.

Yes, you're exactly right, I was thrown off by the ignition wiring diagram and thought the trigger switches were placed outside the magneto housing.
I also found a picture online showing which trigger cable goes to which electronic box
    Thanks for your assistance.
