Log book entry !!!
I am using THERMAL LABEL to log my maintenance and engine Log Book instead of writing in book by hand. Now Find out those Label are fading !!!!

In my opinion, would say a laser printed label would be the best, or an inkjet printer with archival ink.
My two cents. I’m sure others have ideas, or perhaps a call to the FSDO.
Labels do make a lot of sense since folks penmanship varies.

I've been using sticky labels for 20+ years and never an issue. It must be your printer type or ink type.

Ya, thermal printing is NOT a good choice for something meant to last a long time.
The glue on labels can sometimes also dry out, allowing them to peel away over time.
