The video ends prematurely. It no longer shows how to safety the throttle cable nuts.

    Hi Martin,

If you want to add safety wire to the throttle cable at the adjuster here is how. Get a piece of safety wire and twist it out about 1" out away from the adjusting nut on the cable. Twist the safety wire so the twist goes right up to the adjusting nut. Wrap that around the cable right at the adjuster nut, but still on the cable only. Next twist that until you have about 3/8" - 1/2" twist then wrap that just past the nut, but actually on the metal adjusting nut on the threaded part. Now you have a two point non slip contact on the cable that is pulled up and snugly in place to the metal arm of the adjusting nut threads. I'll try and remember to get a picture.

So when it says "Set your idle stop screws equally" that is the end of the video?
It just seems to end abruptly.......hate to think I missed something important.

    Hi Rhett,

I went back and looked at the video end. Your right it does just stop. The video only addresses the actual sync. There are a few different cable setups and as you see in the video they had an all metal cable which I never see down in my neck of the woods. Your right that the cable should be secured either from wanting to pull out completely and or just moving in and out.

    Thanks Roger.
I have done the mechanical sync and am waiting on a carbmate to arrive to do the rest.
I've set my idle to 1800. I have noticed, with engine not running, that there is a gap at the high speed stop of about 2mm. 4.37 mark on the video.
I have a cable set up the same as the video with spring on to full throttle.
The only reason I can see for this gap is a "lack of stroke" coming from the cockpit throttle control stops?

The video list does have each chapter separately. You can see the entire chapter four section by going to the separate video. Hope this helps.
