FYI - Not only is the wiping of posts (usually the first after logging on) back, now I get "logged out" after almost every session, without requesting.
Like the wiping its not such a big deal - Easy to manage but not the way it should be.

This is probably a program on your computer doing this. I doubt it's this website. There isn't a bunch of other complaints so this points to an isolated issue on your computer. I have seen several programs on computers that sign people out and delete cookies after they exit a program. look to see what is running for your security and what the individual settings are in that program.

I think the "wiping of posts" problem might be a network error - are you using WIFI? Do you ever see a little popup "Network change detected"? (Assuming you are running Windows) Reconnecting radio channels in the background can sometimes fail and disconnect you from a session mid-stream - some notes on that here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftedge/forum/all/network-change-detected/9d4d2ada-c02a-42c8-bae0-d3f0624b69f4

Hi RO,
The above "problems" are back.
The Forum often seems to Log me out automatically and perversely, often Logs me in, even after I Log out. This has no negative impact on my participation/enjoyment of the Forum - just letting you know.
The "wiping"/loss of the first post, after Logging in, has become almost routine BUT can catch me out with the occasional later post, also being wiped. I have become used to this little issue and now try to remember to Copy all my posts BEFORE clicking on the Post Reply button. If I lose the post I just Paste and Post Reply again - so far this works every time.
All the best for Christmas/New Year.😈

Hi Sean!
i still haven't been able to duplicate this, running our recommended browser "google chrome" on Windows, Mac, or Linux.
It still looks to me like you either have a network problem, or some browser plugin interference.
My troubleshooting questions would be
If there is nothing anomalous in any of your answers above then I am stuck and can only ascribe it to 'unknown network glitches'.
The only suggested workaround would then be what Bill posted above:
"Before hitting the Post Reply button I will often hit Ctrl-A, and Ctrl-C to copy the post to the Clipboard, Just in case"
