Flywheel hub

in 912 / 914 Technical Questions 16 hours ago

I’ve just fitted a Sprag clutch to 912ULS and at the same time I changed the flywheel hub from the old flywheel over to the new part number 966872 for future soft start installation. The engine still is fitted with the old ignition modules 966726 has this caused a problem because the engine now will not start and it isn’t producing a spark?

    Hi Philip

    The new flywheel controls the timing.  The new modules control the start delay.  Both together make up the "soft start" of the new  engines.  Spark has nothing to do with the flywheel itself, only timing.  I suggest you have something else going on.
