Anyone tell me the approx date that they made the change from the old to the new style flywheel/ignition timing on the 912ULS?
Many thx!

Hi Pete,
Sorry not a Rotax historian however can tell you that my 2000 Rotax 912 ULS had the old fly wheel. I had to replace my Sprag Clutch, so as part of this repair, I took the opportunity to upgraded my ignition, to partial Soft Start, by installing a more recent fly wheel.

It's really preferred that you reference a SN rather than a date. See this link: https://legacy.rotaxowner.com/si_tb_info/serviceinfo/si-912-028.pdf
