in 912 / 914 Technical Questions

was asked about a problem where a new module was installed on an older 912 uls.trailer plugs were previously changed to newer connectors and worked fine until a wire broke on one module. the guy bought a new module with soft start and he has no fire whatsoever on from this module. did all checks of trigger and charge coils and they are in spec.grounds are good.seems strange that it worked fine on old module till wire broke and new module won't work. am I missing something here?
