    Hi Thomas,

You say you have a 912UL (80HP) and with just a turbo fuel injected engine you gained 20-30 hp. How did you manage that? Has the engine been dyno'ed?

    Hi Roger,

Yes, we have dynoed an excact similar engine. It produces 119.3HP with 40" MP @ 5800rpms. At 50" it produces close to 145HP. With the intercooler and a intake airtemp of only 12-17c we get another few extra HP as well as a much greater margin for pre-detonation.

At 32-34" MP witch I quite often cruise at, it delivers 110+ HP. Remember, this is the same engine as the 914 (Same displacement). We have performed dyno test of both the 914 with injection and the 912ul with turbo and injection, and the 912 turbo delivers slightly more power. I also use a different turbo with a higher flowrate and airvolume delivery than the 914.
