I own a Rotax 912 80 HP mounted on a P&M GT 450 trike. Last weekend someone lifted the nose of the trike by pulling the propeller and using the mains as leverage points (if you know trikes this does not require a lot of force as the nose is very light). Engine looks and runs perfectly fine but I am concerned that the propeller shaft or bearing may have been damaged. Is there any inspection on the shaft that I should perform? Should I modify the inspection schedules for the magnetic plug?
Thanks for any advice on the topic.

    Hi Miguel,

My bet is you are just fine. If you are really worried you can follow the special cheks for a prop strike on the prop flange. My money says you should be okay.
