#3 EGT problems

I've had two EGT probes go bad, both in the #3 cylinder. One at approx. 110 hrs. TT and the other at 145 hrs. TT.
The probes are placed at 100mm from the cylinder as suggested by Rotax.
The probe is located on a bend, not touching anything internal or external.
912 ULS with 145 TT. Has anyone experienced this problem?
