A few of the smart guys at Rotech, CPS, Rotax owner.com and such respond annonymously so as not to get into the silly debates that often ensue among "the bretheran." Rob Seaton is a Canadian guy from Rotech Research where I got my training. I am biased but i listen to him, I often listen to Roger Lee on the Rotax Forum, John Pitkin, There are a bunch of knowlagable guys on the forum. I always listen to John Mcbean of Kitfox on the team kitfox forum and so on. You need to make your own judgments about who is a voice of reason and who is just a voice for the sake of freedom of speech. A few weeks of watching the forum will get you a good read on who knows what they are talking about.
I got a promotion on the forum from the number of posts I had read and responded to. Not a promotion from proving my knowlege in any meaningful way, so don't judge by a few stars after a name. If someone you want to respond doesnt, ping them with a private message and ask them to do the same for you, they may just be shy about starting a thread debate on your personal pet subject. Does that help? Happy flying.
